01 / Find your fit

What makes this noodle worth a look?

Product facts first. Then choose the texture, flavour and meal that suit you.

01 / Flavour & texture

A soba-style change

The brand describes a springy texture and nutty buckwheat aroma. This is a soy-based tofu noodle with buckwheat, not a 100% buckwheat soba noodle.

02 / Cold-bowl convenience

Open, drain, build your bowl

The product directions say no boiling or rinsing is needed. Try a cold soba-style bowl or a vegetable bowl when you want a quick noodle base.

03 / Compare the actual label

50 kcal and 3g fibre

These are the amounts in one noodle pack. Sauce and toppings add their own nutrition, so compare the complete meal as well as the base.

02 / Know your noodle

The details behind the keywords.

Nutrition is for one 180g noodle pack, excluding filling water. It does not include sauce, toppings or the other packs in the 5-pack.

A number for the noodle base is not a number for the whole bowl. Sauces and toppings add their own energy, nutrients and allergens.

Before you choose

Good questions. Clear answers.

Is this made from 100% buckwheat?

No. The pack front lists a soy-milk-based tofu noodle with 2% buckwheat. “Domestic buckwheat” refers to the Korean origin of the buckwheat used, not a noodle made entirely from buckwheat.

Is the noodle gluten-free certified?

The product page shows Global Certification Corporation certification including MyNormal Buckwheat-Tofu Noodles, valid from 15 May 2026 to 14 May 2027. That scope does not automatically include sauces or toppings.

Does 0g sugar mean no carbohydrate?

No. The nutrition panel lists 0g sugars and 5g carbohydrate per 180g noodle pack. These are different nutrition measurements.

Does the 50 kcal figure include soba sauce?

No. It describes one noodle pack only. The sauce-included 5-pack contains five noodle packs and five sauce sachets. Count sauce nutrition separately; the No sauce 5-pack costs S$2.50 less.

What should I check about the sauce and allergens?

Read the labels for both the noodles and the selected sauce. Recipes differ: a claim on one noodle or sauce does not automatically apply to the whole set. Some sauce options contain wheat, soy or sesame. If you need to avoid an ingredient, confirm the exact current pack before ordering.

Can I compare this with the other noodle types?

Yes. Explore the guides below, but compare the stated serving size and whether sauce is included. Different brands and recipes should not share the same nutrition assumptions.
